MENTER funding, apart from the ERIN funds, ends in March 2011. The trustees are working on MENTERâs future and have agreed to review setting up a trading arm as well as re-launching MENTER with a small core group of staff and a new localism plus agenda. Localism plus will mean MENTER pilots in particular localities that are innovative and advance support of the BME sector. Pilots, although localised, will be run with learning partnerships across localities in order to build good practice across the country. The website will continue to update people on MENTER progress and will host more interactive methods of communicating with BME and other stakeholders. MENTER hopes to continue its long tradition of meaningful and effective support for the sector along with continued contribution to the development of policy.
